Easter Sunday: The Forsaken One | Psalm 22

Ever since that first Easter morning that Jesus rose from the grave, Christians have celebrated the resurrection of the Son of God. And for good reason, because without the resurrection the Christian faith lacks hope and power. Because Jesus is God, He overpowered sin and death and defeated it once and for all. Easter is a glorious reminder that Jesus was forsaken so that we would never be. And that through Jesus, new life is possible for all those who repent of their sins and trust in Him as their savior.
