The Good Samaritan | Luke 10:25-37

We are currently in a teaching series called The Moral of the Story: The Parables of Jesus. The purpose of this series is to learn from Jesus the master storyteller as He reveals life changing spiritual truths through relatable stories. This week we are studying the parable of The Good Samaritan from Luke 10:29-37. Many Jews of Jesus’ day knew the parts of the Mosaic law that called them to love God and love their neighbor. In this parable, Jesus confronts the common prejudices of His day between Jews and Samaritans. There was a palpable tension between the two and Jesus tells a story here that is meant to point out their bias and reveal God’s true definition of love for neighbor. Listen in as we explore Jesus’ teaching and seek to apply it to our lives.
