Kids Church
Newborns to 5th Graders
During the 9AM Hour for Adults and Teens, kids will gather for a supervised playtime until Kids Church begins. Our Sunday morning Kids Church runs from 10AM through 11:45AM while their parents attend the Worship Service. We treasure the children that attend our church and take great precaution in their well-being. All of our teachers and volunteers go through training and are background checked.
Nursery (Newborns to Age 1) - In the Nursery, we provide nurturing care, play, feeding, and changing in a safe atmosphere that helps free parents to participate in the worship services.
Toddlers (Ages 1 & 2) - In the Toddlers class, we create an exciting place to expand developing minds through toys, games, singing, crafts, and interactive Bible lessons.
Preschool (Age 3 to Pre-K) - In the Preschool class, we encourage deeper Bible discussions through lessons, questions, crafts, and even games that all connect to the concept we are learning. A free time of play and snack time is also a must for these fun kids!
Elementary (K thru 5th Grade) - In the Elementary class, we share age appropriate lessons from the Bible and teach how each story has a Christ connection. Volunteers also direct questions in small group settings and apply principles of love during interactive sessions that include crafts and games.
Awana
Preschool to 6th Graders
Awana is dedicated to reaching boys and girls with the gospel of Jesus Christ to train them to serve Him. It is our desire to see them know Him, love Him, serve Him, and tell others about Him and His redeeming love. We utilize a large group time to teach the lesson and then split up into a small group time that allows children to study and recite the Word of God. The cornerstone of the Awana program is game time. All volunteers attend West Windsor Baptist Church and are trained in Child Abuse Prevention strategies and are background checked.
Cubbies (Ages 3 to 5) - Cubbies can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, earning awards for their uniform vests, playing fun games in the gym, or being with all their fellow Cubbies, they simply love coming out on Wednesday.
Sparks (Kindergarten to Grade 2) - Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Clubbers memorize short Bible verses and earn awards for their progress. Sparks is divided into three years, each with a unique rank: HangGlider®, WingRunner® and SkyStormer™.
TNT (Grade 3 to 6) - TNT engages this age group by answering their questions about God and the Bible. Clubbers memorize Scripture verses and earn awards to wear on their uniforms as they progress through their books. Large-group lesson times include song time and lessons that add to each child’s understanding about God and His ways and how to put it into everyday life.
