Mercy Fund
We understand that life is hard. Jobs vanish, cars break, houses burn, people steal. There is so much that is out of our control and not much that sin has not tainted.
Yet, God is good. One way the Bible describes God is, near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). If you are struggling and beat down, God sees you and loves you. Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew, come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). If this describes you, brokenhearted and heavy laden, the good news is there is grace found in the arms of our great God.
And as people who have been changed by the grace of God, we want to be an extension of God’s grace to you. One of the ways we attempt to do that is through the Mercy Fund.
Made possible by the continuous generosity of the people of West Windsor Baptist Church, the Mercy Fund steps in to support those in financial crisis. More officially, the Mercy Fund exists to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus by generously giving to those in need, helping people in crisis, helping people overcome financial instability and encouraging Godly stewardship.
If you have an acute financial need and don’t know where to turn, consider filling out a Mercy Fund Application. We don’t have the ability to meet every need, but we promise your request will be responded to in a prayerful, confidential, and loving way.
