Kingdom Values: Right Seeking and Relations | Matthew 7:7-12
We are twelve weeks into our fall series called The Kingdom. The purpose of this series is to explain what it means to be a citizen of God's kingdom. Jesus begins chapter seven by teaching on the values of His kingdom, what matters most to God. Jesus explains that a citizen of God's kingdom will reflect love for God and love for others by seeking Him and treating others according to the golden rule. Listen in as we explore the kingdom values of right seeking and right relations with others.
Kingdom Values: Right Judgement | Matthew 7:1-6
Thanks for joining us this fall as we have been slowly walking through the teaching of Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. In the gospels, Jesus presents Himself as the king who is bringing His kingdom to earth. This sermon is a manifesto explaining what His kingdom is like. Listen in as we transition from chapter six—all about kingdom worship—to chapter seven. This chapter begins by explaining His kingdom values, in other words, what matters most to God. Jesus warns His citizens to avoid unrighteous judgment and instead pursue right judgment.
