Amnon’s Sin | 2 Samuel 13:1-22

This semester our Sunday sermons series is called 2 Samuel: Broken and Beloved. This book focuses on King David as he flourishes through obedience and declines through disobedience. Currently we are in the part of the book that chronicles the consequences for David’s sinful actions. This week we will observe how the spiritual decline of his family becomes one of the consequences of David’s sin, illustrated by Amnon’s senseless rape and humiliation of his sister Tamar. Join us as we study this tragic passage learning about God’s design for sex and the consequences that come when we go outside His design.
