Rebuke, Consequences, and Grace | 2 Samuel 12

We are currently in a teaching series called 2 Samuel: Broken and Beloved. Last week marked the beginning of a new section in the book: David’s decline. Much of the rest of the book chronicles the consequences for David’s actions. This week we are going to study 2 Samuel 12 and observe how David is confronted by the prophet Nathan and is promised judgment for his sin. In addition we will also see that though David went on to receive many consequences for his evil, he confessed his sin to God and received mercy as well. Join us as we study this passage and learn that godly confrontation is good, consequences come from sin, but God’s grace will never leave God’s people.
