David Honors Mephibosheth | 2 Samuel 9

We are currently in a teaching series called 2 Samuel: Broken and Beloved. In part one of this book we have focused on David’s flourishing as he followed God’s commands. This week we will see that pattern continue in 2 Samuel 9 as we witness David’s kindness toward Mephibosheth. Specifically we will observe how David finds Jonathan’s paralyzed son and honors him by adopting him into his family and treating him like royalty. Join us as we study this passage, learning about the value all image-bearers possess and how God’s people should respond to that.
