Love In Loss | Ruth 1

This summer we are starting a new sermon series called Faithful God, in which we will be studying three Old Testament books—Ruth, Jonah, and Esther. Our series will begin by examining the book of Ruth. The book of Ruth gives us a tangible picture of the faithful love of God. God walks with the hurting, provides for the destitute, redeems the hopeless, and heals the broken. In short, God makes beauty out of ashes. Join us this week as we look at God’s faithfulness in chapter one of Ruth. In it we will see Naomi’s great loss of her husband and sons, her experience with grief and bitterness, and yet God shows His faithful love toward Naomi through the unconditional love of Ruth.
