God Redeems and Restores | Esther 8 - 10
As we close our series, we will look at chapters eight through ten of the book of Esther. In these chapters we will see God’s redemption and restoration culminated. We hope as we wrap up this series that God’s people will walk away with a newfound appreciation for God’s faithfulness, despite the challenges of life.
Good Conquers Evil | Esther 6 & 7
During our series we have been exploring God’s faithfulness through three short Old Testament books. Over the past few weeks we have been looking at God’s faithfulness toward His people despite the evil intentions of others. In this sermon we will study Esther chapters six and seven, in which we will see the reversal of judgment that was aimed at the Jews now be redirected toward evil men like Haman. Listen in as we see God’s faithfulness in conquering evil.
Faith in Uncertainty | Esther 4 & 5
In Esther we see the evil intentions of man plotting against God’s people. In chapters four and five we will watch God's faithfulness displayed through the obedience and courage of Mordecai and Esther. Listen in as we look closely at faith in the midst of uncertainty.
The Plans of Evil Men | Esther 3
In our summer series, Faithful God, we have been exploring God’s faithfulness toward His people in several ways. Recently we have been focusing on His faithfulness through the story of Esther. Listen in as we see God’s people come into danger by the plans of evil men as we examine chapter three of Esther. We will look closely at Haman and his plot against the Jews, which will provide the platform for God’s protection to thrive.
God Sets The Stage | Esther 1 & 2
This summer we have been walking through a sermon series called Faithful God, studying Ruth and Jonah. We have finally made it to our final Old Testament book in our series: Esther. In the book of Esther we will see God’s faithfulness on display through the protection of His people despite the malicious intentions of evil people. Listen in as we study chapters one and two, which set the stage for the events to come.
Misunderstanding God’s Grace | Jonah 4
Thanks for joining us all summer long as we have been exploring the faithfulness of God through the study of three short Old Testament books—Ruth, Jonah, and Esther. This week we are in the last chapter of Jonah, looking at the aftermath of God’s mercy toward Nineveh. In this chapter we will see how Jonah clearly misunderstands God’s grace when he gets angry at God for sparing the Ninevites. Listen in as we observe how God stays faithful to Jonah by teaching him a lesson in order to help him learn rightly about His grace.
Repentance and Grace | Jonah 3
We are in week seven of our summer series called Faithful God, currently looking at God’s faithfulness in the life of Jonah. This week we will see God give Jonah a second chance to fulfill the calling to preach judgment to Nineveh, and watch the results of his obedience. We will learn that God’s desired response of human evil is repentance. God sends warnings to people so that they would turn from their sin and turn toward God. Listen in as we see how God delights to show grace toward those who cry out for mercy.
God Forgives And Restores | Jonah 2
Our summer series is called Faithful God. Currently we are observing God’s faithfulness toward those who rebel, reject, and run from Him. Listen in as we study Jonah chapter two, looking closely at his prayer from the belly of the fish. In this chapter we will see how God forgives and restores rebellious people.
God Chases Sinners | Jonah 1
We are five weeks into our summer series called Faithful God, looking at God’s character through the lens of three short Old Testament books. We now make a turn in our series from studying Ruth to Jonah. In the book of Jonah, we will see God’s faithfulness on display toward sinful and rebellious people. Despite human evil, God is extraordinarily faithful by extending grace toward the unworthy and undeserving. Listen in as we examine Jonah chapter one. In this chapter we will meet Jonah, watch his disobedience toward God, and observe God’s grace toward him. We will see clearly from Jonah that it is the tendency of the human heart to run from God, and it is the tendency of the heart of God to chase.
Redemption Is Found | Ruth 4
Our summer series is called Faithful God, looking at the character of God through Ruth, Jonah, and Esther. In this video, we will wrap up our study of Ruth, as we have been observing the faithfulness of God to the grieving and vulnerable. Listen in as we study chapter four and reach the climax of our story. God’s faithfulness toward Ruth and Naomi is realized as Boaz formally redeems their property and takes Ruth to be his wife. God also blesses them with a child, providing life to Naomi who has recently only experienced death. The book closes by showing us God’s greatest act of faithfulness toward His people—it is through this child’s family line that the Messiah will come.
Hope Rises | Ruth 3
We are observing God’s faithfulness toward Ruth and Naomi—characters who have experienced tremendous loss, leaving them emotionally hurt and physically vulnerable. God’s faithfulness has manifested itself in several ways, specifically through Boaz and his kindness toward them. Listen in as we study Ruth chapter three and watch Ruth approach Boaz on the threshing floor and request him to redeem her. We will take time to understand what this means and how it shows God’s faithful love toward His people.
Glimmer Of Hope | Ruth 2
As we continue our new summer series called Faithful God. Through three different Old Testament books, we will see the faithfulness of God on full display. In the book of Ruth, we see God’s faithfulness on display with the broken, grieving, and vulnerable. And in chapter two, we see a glimmer of hope for Ruth and Naomi. Despite their grieving hearts and vulnerable status as widows, God shows kindness to these women through the character Boaz. Listen in as we meet Boaz, observe his kindness, and learn more about God’s faithful love toward His people.
Love In Loss | Ruth 1
The book of Ruth gives us a tangible picture of the faithful love of God. God walks with the hurting, provides for the destitute, redeems the hopeless, and heals the broken. In short, God makes beauty out of ashes. Listen in as we look at God’s faithfulness in chapter one of Ruth. In it we will see Naomi’s great loss of her husband and sons, her experience with grief and bitterness, and yet God shows His faithful love toward Naomi through the unconditional love of Ruth.
