Depravity: Unfaithful Jews Condemned | Romans 2:1-3:8

We are currently in a series called Romans: the Power of the Gospel. The apostle Paul’s letter to the Christians in Rome has become a theological masterpiece for the church throughout the ages. He spends the first part of his letter explaining the gospel of God, starting with the doctrine of sin and depravity. In last week’s passage, he explained that pagan sinners stand condemned. Now Paul will clarify that unfaithful Jews also stand condemned because of their hypocrisy and disobedience to God. He wants them to know that neither their heritage nor their works can save them—they need a changed heart. Join us this week as we study Romans 2:1-3:8, extract timeless truths from this passage, and apply them for our lives.
