Justification: Example of Abraham | Romans 4:1-25
We are currently in a series called Romans: The Power of the Gospel. The purpose of this series is to rightly understand the gospel and how the gospel empowers Christians to walk in newness of life. Paul started his explanation of the gospel with the doctrine of human depravity. Then he turns the discussion to the good news, that through Christ God’s people can be declared right with Him. Continuing his explanation, Paul uses Abraham as an example for Jews that salvation has always been by grace alone through faith alone. Abraham’s righteousness was granted to him by grace through faith, just as it is now. Join us this week as we study Romans 4:1-25 and seek to apply biblical truths to our lives.
